Whom should I think of in regard to ‘persons with poor job prospects’?
They are people who, due to a variety of reasons, are insufficiently able to independently find or retain a job.
This may be because of:
1. their age. Think for example of people who are 50 or older and no longer able to do physically demanding labour;
2. no or little education (‘low-skilled’) or little experience;
3. a physical limitation, for example: limited motor skills, deafness or impaired hearing, blindness or visual impairment;
4. a social or mental limitation. Think for example of someone would work best in a ‘low-stimulus environment’ and without time pressure, or of someone who has been confined to their home for a long time.
5. a language barrier. Think for example of immigrants.

What technologies should I think of in regard to ‘robotization’?
Robotization is a broad concept. For this design challenge we mainly look at technologies that are able to ‘empower’ people; whether it concerns drones, artificial intelligence, smart algorithms or intelligent devices: all technologies that are able to give people ‘superpowers’ can, for the purpose of this design challenge, be interpreted as part of the notion ‘robotization’.
